Our Story

COAHM was founded in February 2026 with a simple but powerful vision: to be a light in the community and to respond to the needs around us. We are a faith based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families in need in Onslow County. We are here to be a light offering hope, support and practical help to veterans and single mothers facing homelessness.

Mission

Our mission is to provide safe, stable transitional housing and coordinated supportive services that help veterans and families move from crisis to longterm stability and independence.

Vision

A community where no veteran or family is trapped in housing instability and every household has a clear, supported path to permanent housing.
